How long have you been on the board?
Since October 2019.
How did you first get involved with The Bone & Joint Journal?
Being invited to review papers followed by an invitation to join the board.
What is the best thing about being on the board?
It is rare to have regular quarterly meetings to meet the rest of the board and discuss papers. Doing so is a very positive thing and provides context for consideration of papers and a good level of scrutiny when there is any controversy.
What one piece of advice would you give to others who might like to get more involved with The Bone & Joint Journal?
Get involved in reviewing papers and spend an appropriate amount of time in doing so. Also consider the research in the context of what can be done, a lot of reviewers are far more critical of others work than they are of their own!
