How long have you been on the board?

Since 2018 (I think).

How did you first get involved with The Bone & Joint Journal?

In 1991, I started my career in orthopaedics (at the time the JBJS-British) and sent my first paper in 1996 (of course rejected). My first paper in BJJ was published in 2005.

What is the best thing about being on the board?

International exchange, communication with friends and colleagues, the challenge to find the strengths and weaknesses of papers in the same quantity as my colleagues.

What one piece of advice would you give to others who might like to get more involved with The Bone & Joint Journal?

Be active, send your comments, ideas, criticism and needs to the Editorial Office.

What song is top of your operating room playlist?

Depends on my mood: ‘7 Nation Army’ (The White stripes), ‘Eye of the Tiger’ (Survivor) or ‘The Wall’ (Pink Floyd).
