The aim of this study was to assess the incidence the microbiological spectrum and clinical outcome of hip and knee revision arthroplasties with unexpected-positive-intraoperative-cultures (UPIC) at a single center with minimum follow up of 2 years. We retrospectively analyzed our prospectively maintained institutional arthroplasty registry. Between 2011 and 2020 we performed presumably aseptic rTHA (n=939) and rTKA (n= 1,058).
