Dr Nils Meißner

Dr Nils Meißner earned his medical degree from the University of Würzburg and Charité University Hospital Berlin, where he completed his MD thesis on “Extensor mechanism reconstruction after total knee arthroplasty using a synthetic mesh”. Following his residency training at Sana Hospital Sommerfeld under the guidance of Medical Director Prof Dr Andreas Halder, he is currently undertaking a Visiting Research Fellowship with Dr Matthew Abdel's Genetic Host Variation Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA, to further his research. Last year, Dr Meißner also completed the prestigious European Knee Society Travelling Fellowship.
