David Johnstone
David Johnstone qualified in 1985 from University College London and underwent basic surgical training in Bristol and specialist training on the Westminster Charing Cross Hospital rotation in London. He completed his orthopaedic training as Senior Registrar in Exeter before being appointed in 1997 as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire, specialising in lower limb joint replacement and revision surgery, retiring from NHS practice in 2022.

Mr Simon Young
Mr Simon Young is a specialist knee surgeon from Auckland, New Zealand. He is Director of Orthopaedic Research at North Shore Hospital, an Associate Professor at Auckland University, serves on the board of the New Zealand Joint Registry, and is the current president of the New Zealand Knee Society.
